This series of images remind me of another of my favourite wedding photographers - Mr Ascough. Letting the light stand out from the dark. Moody yet full of positive emotion. Wonderful stuff.

Hi Dror - I'm also a FOYF (fan of your foto's!) and style, but I think the above really does nail it, particularly the comment about the fact that many portfolio's are shot over a 5 hour period, with professional models, make up/hair... and the bride just doesn't understand the kind of pressure and timing that's involved, or that the phrase 'the best laid plans of mice and men.....' really comes into play. Most grooms are terrified of having their pix taken, and my biggest challenge is turning 'Farmers Weekly' into 'Mens Health' on the day. Love your list... great advice!
