Velmore Wedding – Tarryn and Bradley

I think I’ve rewritten this blog post about ten times now, just not getting the feeling right, I may have to resort to bullet points.

Ok, last try, this one is going in as is. This weekend was our first time at Velmore, I’d done a little bit of online research on the venue and decided that we needed to have a look for ourselves. Our style is pretty different from the romantic-mooiste-dag feeling I was getting from the online photos, I wanted something that was very different, more classical and elegant and less wedding photography cheese. Something that fitted Tarryn and Bradley’s personalities. Velmore has that kind of edginess in spades, amazing large open spaces, some serious architecture that kind of reminded me of the huge manicured gardens you see in France. We loved the venue, and just outside was a perfect bit of veld. The plan was set, a couple of edgier photos using the architecture of the venue and a couple of the more veld type images that we seem to have become infamous for.

Tarryn’s reply when we told her that we wanted to do some of the pics in the veld outside the venue was, I knew you’d love that. My kind of rockstar client.

Let’s see, I have to give a shout out to Mr and Mrs Jacobs who made us feel incredibly welcome, we really appreciated it. I did ask Tarryn who made her killer bee dress, because I knew I’d be getting several emails asking, I then promptly forgot the name. My brain doesn’t seem to want to retain that kind of information.
