Most grooms are terrified of having their pix taken, and my biggest challenge is turning 'Farmers Weekly' into 'Mens Health' on the day. Love your list... great advice! "eat the right foods (small quantities); appreciate good music; enjoy silences; sleep well; love God." someone else that springs to mind is Steve McCurry whose very famous advice to aspiring photographers was "If you want to be a photographer, you have to photograph." The only thing I would add to that is that when you are done photographing, photograph some more. Its the only way to learn to appreciate color and composition and how light translated into a two dimensional medium.
