Six-20 ‘Brownie’

So finally a day off, kind of anyway, I saw a couple of people this morning and I did a quick shoot, but the afternoon was off, definitely off. I spent a couple of quiet hours restoring a Six-20 ‘Brownie’ F – that’s the deluxe/sporty model of the Six-20 ‘Brownie’ E (in case for some reason you aren’t a Kodak geek).

Those that know me, know that I spend a small fortune on antique cameras, restoring them, shooting with them (or as a certain person says, wasting film) and generally enjoying the feel of shooting film through a lens that’s older than me. One day I’ll be able to afford a Garflex Crown Graphic, until then its quiet afternoons trying to get a capping blade into position. Tomorrow we’ll put a roll through it and see what it can do. Monday it will be back to photoshop and CF cards.
