So we snuck off to the South Coast, Ramsgate to be precise, for a quick vacation. According to The Saturday Star, the South Coast is the uncoolest place to go on vacation.

We stayed at Bill’s Best Rosscarberry, an excellent self-catering chalet right on a private beach. It was a perfect break away from Johannesburg, feet dipping in the ocean, endless sunset walks on deserted beaches and late night movies on DSTV. The previous occupant of our chalet had left a copy of the new Bret Easton Ellis, Lunar Park, behind. Obviously Rosscarberry is where the new cool go to hang out. Or not.
