We took a short break and headed out to the the Karoo last week. Desert, heat and some incredible places. A really amazing chance to clear my head, take some non-stressful photos and just have fun. If you ever get a chance to take a road trip to the Owl House in Nieu Bethesda, I cant recommend it enough. Concrete sculptures, fantastic figures and mythical beasts set around Helen Martins’ house. Visionary art, outsider art whatever you want to call it.
