This weekend I was blessed to be a part of Melanie and Reinhardt’s wedding at the beautiful L’Aquila. They were both relaxed and calm as can be; the wedding was gorgeous, the dress incredible, the location serene, and the light amazing. Too many superlatives? Maybe, but it was that kind of day. Lots of crying, beautiful speeches, and partying … those accountants/auditers can really get down!! Everyone made us feel really welcome and we had a really great time. You can always tell from the photos when as a photographer you have a good time. Photography is a creative endeavour and when you feel comfortable the photos are going to reflect that.

[ Vendor Prop ] – I’m going to give my vendor prop this wedding to the venue. L’Aquila was spacious, the lighting was amazing especially in the chapel, the hospitality and the staff were some of the best we’ve experienced in a while. There were also quite a few places to photograph, so if you’re into mock tuscany venues LAquila might be the place. Ignore the website which is shockingly cheesy and go see it for yourself.
