We’d spent a good half an hour trying to figure out which actress Karen reminded me of, but no name sprang to mind and I couldn’t even remember the name of the series. My memory is like that, rubbish when it comes to names … and unless it has to do with photography or philosophy, don’t even bother asking.

So it was Thursday, we were at Ga Rouge for Karen and Fernando’s wedding and Julia’s christening – our first christening and Julia was a rockstar, gorgeous as beans and happy to be photographed. I had a long post planned about how amazing the food was at Ga Rouge, how cool Karen and Fernando were (especially after we showed them where we wanted to photograph them) and how nice it was to be as such a chilled, relaxed event, but it’s pollen season out here and that special brand of headache that seems to settle behind my eyeballs and refuse to leave, is starting to make the screen look odd. Time for an icepack.
