The mad fluffy cat has been waking me up earlier and earlier, going ballistic in the lounge, jumping into the bath and sliding down the edges like a hyperactive six year old. With the early morning grey light just starting to peek in under the curtains, I’ve been wondering whether he has a plan that involves me going ever so slightly mad from lack of sleep. Now in the reality of daylight it has occurred to me that it’s summer, he has no watch and the sunrise is earlier every day.

Of course summer also means that we are in peak wedding season, long nights editing and a fast approaching holiday as the proverbial carrot. So we start, first up are Yolandi and Roland at one of our absolute favorite venues in Gauteng – Forum Homini. Huge blue skies, a killer bee couple that couldn’t stop smiling, except when they thought we weren’t looking and they wiped away a tear, big ass proteas, and just a really relaxed atmosphere to the day. Nice.

We do most of our workshops at the Forum, and I’ve been dying to try out some of the spots that we’ve been using for our workshops at an actual wedding.
