End of the 2010 Season
It’s been an amazing season, we’ve met some really cool couples, reconnected with old clients and their new kids, been featured in magazines, flown around the world, dipped our feet in several oceans and drove across some of the most rocking deserts in the world. We shot our first pagan wedding, a wedding on top of a mountain in the middle of Lord Of The Rings territory, went back to familiar locations like Red Ivory, The Cradle and Shepstone Gardens and even tested our edginess at Avianto. It is the end of the season and we’re taking a short break from photographing, the studio is still open but we’re taking the next month to catch up on post-production, album design, marketing and do some personal work, we’ll be back in mid-Feb, fresh and ready to bring another fresh spin to wedding photography.
This is usually the time of year where people post their best of the year – we’ve decided to post ours on Facebook this time. So if you’re a facebook person, or even if you’re not, check out our Best of 2010 (and some 2011).
I did learn a couple of things from putting our best of together – we really do like all our couples and enjoy ourselves at weddings, my favorite images are those that show real emotion, and black and white documentary images still make my heart smile.
and because no post would be complete without a couple of images …
