Confetti Butterflies
I have been getting numerous requests and emails about the confetti butterflies story I have up on the blog. So here is some contact information, please note that neither I nor ishootweddings is in any way affiliated with the sale or breeding of confetti butterflies or the South African Butterfly Breeding Association (SABBA).
A quick word of advice butterflies are seasonal and are bred specifically for your date so you will need to book your butterflies fairly early. Organisations like SABBA need time to be able to collect female specimens from your area, quarantine them, get the females to lay their eggs, feed the larva for the duration of the feeding cycle, quarantine the pupa from parasitation and the select mainly the males along with a few females to fill your order (to prevent overpopulation).
