Marisa and Veijay, our first Buddhist couple, got married at the Nan Hua Temple in Brokhurstspruit, an amazing amazing place and well worth a visit even if you are just a tourist. Small, elegant and private, it was the kind of ceremony I would have liked, if I had been Buddhist and not Jewish (I only later learned about Jew-Buh’s, the mind boggles). The reception was held at the very stylish, eco-friendly Peech Hotel.

So now, I’m two weddings into my official break from work, but it was worth it. Marisa, Veijay and their kids were all rockstars and just cool.
